Have a Plan

Talk with your physician about your medical plan of care and the challenges you are having or may be anticipating. He or she may be able to offer suggestions about how to approach day-to-day issues as well as suggest resources for how you can get additional help making a plan. The more confident you are in the plan and the more support you have, the more successful you will be in living with your illness.
